he’s a bad man. Give the guy some credit. He’s 37, formerly homeless, and literally fought in the streets to feed his family (not like Sprewell). The MMA world picked him up as a ratings draw, and he’s earning money doing something we all love to watch. It’s really not his fault that EliteXC is a terrible fight league, and they overhype him to the point of legend status just to get people to watch them. It’s the same thing they are doing with Gina Carano, making her the face of women’s MMA just because she’s jacked and hot. I’m a Kimbo fan, and I won’t make excuses for him. He’s not a trained fighter, he went up against a black belt. He has a long way to go to be considered a real contender in MMA, and CBS has hyped him as this unstoppable force of nature..
But we were talking about Camarillo…
