AFC East in Perspective

Okay, I'd just like to say that I think our division is up for grabs. New England won today but definitely are not the team they were with Brady. The New York Jets have only convincingly beaten the Arizona Cardinals, who are a pretty decent team, but like the critics said about us after New England, the Jets need to be consistent and I think that win was a fluke. Lastly, the Bills are in the lead, but today they played a decent team, and they got murdered. Sure, Trent Edwards got knocked out early, but they certainly haven't shown us anything by beating the Rams, Seahawks, and Raiders. I will give them credit for beating Jacksonville though. Also, the trashtalking Buffalo fans still can feel good that there team is 4-1. Overall though, I think anyone can win this division cause after today, things have gotten a lot more interesting.

Hey Mikey.....

I like it! I’m not sure if we’re in the division leaders house just yet, but one things for sure, we are outside the gates and making enough noise that we are getting some raised eyebrows now.

I was watching some show...

couldn’t remember which… maybe it was a comment on here…

but whoever it was pointed out something very important…

The Pats beat the Jets who beat the Dolphins who beat the Pats…

So basically the division is 1-1 for those 3… the only team who hasn’t got in on the action is the Bills. After they play San Diego they play the other 3 back to back, by that time (4 weeks or so) we will see where this division is going…

Right now, everything is wide open!

Its kinda cool

to be able to realistically be able to get excited about this team again. I mean who’d of thought 3 weeks ago we’d be right back into the thick of things now.

interesting division

AFC East race is going to be interesting.

the Pats beat the jets, the jets beat the phins, and the phins beat the Pats. and all of these were road team victories!

the cardinals stomped the bills and Fins, but the Jets stomped the Cardinals. Meanwhile the Chargers stomped the Jets and Miami beat the Chargers. Jets beat Miami. None of it makes sense.

Buffalo hasn’t played a division game yet.

NE has to go to SD this week. I think that will be a SD victory. then SD goes to Buffalo.

I could see the AFC east championship going to the final week. I hate to say it, but I think that 4th down Pennington interception against the Jets may end up having a much greater impact on the Fins this year than any of us could have imagined at the time.

Hill earned the starting job for the 2009 season by beating out Alex Smith, who missed last season after re-injuring his surgically repaired throwing shoulder. Head coach Mike Singletary largely chose Hill based on his play down the stretch last year: he went 5-3 over the final eight games and he also owns a 5-0 record at home in Candlestick Park.
