Joey Porter named AFC Defensive Player of the Month
Porter, in 4 October games, had 5.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery. This is just the 2nd time in his career that Joey has won this award. And it's just another step closer to a potential Defensive Player of the Year award.

Joey better open up another shelf for all this hardware, he’s in the running for Gameball of the Year as well, and I will send out a trophy. I think I’m just gonna assign points to each slot (1=5, 2=4 etc.) and give the award to whoever got the most points at the end of the year..

I love IDP fantasy leagues
I’m actually in a keeper league where we keep our entire 53-man roster (and a practice squad). We start 11 defense players, too. It’s freakin’ awesome. We do our rookie draft a week after the NFL Draft.

Porter has been a beast, he was hurt last year & played in his un-natural position.. He could be a force for us for a couple more years..
