I am an admitted Beck fan. I do not like how he has been handled this year. I also realize that he wasn't heads above Henne and McCown (then Pennington) during camp. I do hope he does get a chance somewhere down the road (hopefully with the Fins). After reading this blog, it appears that he is staying positive and trying to learn as much as he can. Hopefully some of Pennington will rub off on him.

How could he have been handled differently?
he was given a chance to earn the starting job, by all accounts it was his for the taking, and he didn’t do it. He didn’t need to be heads above anybody, he was behind every QB we had in camp including McCown. He’ll get another chance this offseason…

Still a Beck Fan
The guy is as humble and classy as they come. I feel bad about the situation he was in, and kind of still in, but he doesn’t seem like a quitter. Learning from Chad is the best way for him to grow. Whether it’s for Miami or another team I hope he has success.

I believe in Beck also to many people give up on players the minute they don't show they got it right away
