Lehan injures hamstring on Thursday
The Palm Beach Post is reporting that CB Michael Lehan "tweaked" his hamstring at practice on Thursday. The Post describes the injury below:
Shortly before the end of the 30-minute session open to the media, Lehan was covering Brandon London at the right sideline when London cut inside him to catch a pass. After failing to counter the move, Lehan reached down and grabbed his left hamstring and walked off the field. He remained there a few minutes while a trainer approached to offer assistance.
It was shortly after that when the media's time was up and had to leave the area. Hopefully an update will be provided after practice.
If this injury does linger into Sunday, perhaps we'll get an even better chance to see what Jason Allen can do as a corner. He's got all the physical tools to be a good cornerback, but is raw in his technique. It would be interesting on Sunday if Allen is forced to play for an extended amount of plays.
The Post also reports that Jason Ferguson again didn't practice - instead working on the side to rehab his injured oblique. Randy Starks again worked with the 1st team at nose tackle.

Why do we...
still have hopes for Jason?
He is a bust. I have no expectation for him, but to be a crappy CB with a lot of potencial ON PAPER!!
I will see the Dolphins win a SUPER BOWL before i die(21 years and counting)

His biggest problem
is NOT his athleticism, it’s his brain. The reason he’s not a good safety and can’t get on the field is because he constantly blows coverages and makes the wrong reads because he’s a dum-dum. He has all the physical attributes to be a good corner, IMO, we just need to completely simplify it for him. Let him play alot of man and hope his athletic ability makes up for his SFB.
OK.... so if the Jacksonville Jaguars are known as the "Jags" and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are known as the "Bucs," what does that make the Tennessee Titans?

sometimes........lots of times actually
certain players, blessed or not……..don’t have the “it” factor. His candle is burning low in my book, he’d best find “it”.

True.
hopefully his “it” is out there by the sideline instead of inside the hashmarks… Call me optimistic, but I’d at least like to see it before we completely cut him loose. Kinda doubt he’ll be anything special, but maybe he’ll be useful you know? Because right now, we’re getting NOTHING.

you know it
optimistic………….there I called you it. But I’m the same. I have a real bad problem of thinking that every prospect that dons the Miami Dolphin uniform will eventually work out. Until they fail, I believe. Yea, it does wear on you sometimes. But i’d rather be that way instead of just bitching and moaning and pointing out faults on everything. That would really wear on me worse.

Very True Husker
But also, many times a player with the physical talent to be an outstanding football player, but lacks the ability to picks up schemes quickly, these guys often eventually develop through sheer repetition and experience. I am not saying that Allen is this guy… but I AM saying that it is not unrealistic to think that once he understands his role thoroughly AND has a continued opportunity to gain experience at that position (whichever one it ends up being), he SHOULD then be able to make use of that natural athleticism.
Some of these guys just need to get lots of reps in the same spot in the same system before they can stop thinking about it and play.
It is fair to hope that this coaching staff is trying to develop the guy correctly.

Ferguson...
has hurt an oblique and isn’t looking good for Sunday. Soliai will be available again but Fergie has been immense at NT this season and if he’s missing he’ll be a hell of a loss.

Just reread the post again
Brandon London’s got shakes. Put a move on Lehan and the hammy went out. Guys that are 6’4 215 shouldn’t be able to blow CB’s hammy’s out. I think I’m gonna buy a Brandon London jersey lol

It was also London who made the block that sprung Cobbs for one of his TDs against Houston.
He was on the field for that offensive set as a blocker… something else they used to bring in Wilford to do.

Has Lehan been
healthy at any point since the OTA? really he’s been terrible this year and the only thing that has helped him out is those black holes of suckiness (croaker & hill) and to a lesser extent goodman have taken away the spot light from him…. which is not how he played at points prior to being hurt…. so i’m guessing that he hasn’t been right all year and was pressure back before he healed and will likely IR soon…
