Marino vs. Favre
Wow!
The whole situation makes me have a lot more respet for Marino (and I already think he is a God) and the way he handled getting pushed out the door. He took the high road and stayed loyal to the fins. He didn't try to sabotage his own team. He didn't try to come out of Retirement to try to screw the Fins. He never said it wasn't his job to train rooke QBs. True he flirted with going to another franchise, but in the end he decided to retire a Dolphin.
Brett Favre's legacy is about to take a major hit.
Three cheers for Marino. Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray!

agreed
Favre is acting like a complete moron. Rodgers is just better right now…..which is all that matters….he just isnt the same qb.
Marino is the man. If he were a religion i would worship
"If my mother put on a helmet and shoulder pads and a uniform that wasn't the same as the one I was wearing, I'd run over her if she was in my way. And I love my mother."

i’m glad he had to sit on the bench and watch sebastian kick the Black Hole into a W.

OK.... so if the Jacksonville Jaguars are known as the "Jags" and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are known as the "Bucs," what does that make the Tennessee Titans?

Marino, Duper and Clayton
All those guys were solid. Favre is not Marino class. Marino actually controlled games..Favre kept his team/fans on needles with sporadic playing, crazy INt’s and self inflicted comeback wins. In Miami, it was about the team…In Green Bay- all about Favre Bean. Nobody got up for playing in Green Bay (except Green Bay), everybody wants to play in sunny Miami. Marino got everyone’s A game- not the homefield frozen tundra advantage crap where visiting teams kept the bus running. Favre acts humble pie but he’s a self absorbed calculated B+ QB.
OWNED!! lol raven your the man

If I'm the Jets I tell Favre
to spend his free time learning more of the playbook so the offense can run more than the 15 plays he already knows. Last week he was all in the Cowboys business talking to Tony Romo about being a man……..they score 13 points and lose to the Raiders……this week lets see how the Jets do while favre is helping the lions with there game plan. Oh yea Favre couldn’t carry Marino Jock……………
where is phinsguy99?
isnt he a packers AND a jets fan? he can answer this question
"If my mother put on a helmet and shoulder pads and a uniform that wasn't the same as the one I was wearing, I'd run over her if she was in my way. And I love my mother."

Favre = self-centered
evidence – “I’m retiring.” sniff sniff “No I’m not.” “I want to play.” “No I like retirement.” “I’ll play if there’s an injury.” “I’m showing up at camp.” “I’m not here to train a backup.”
Just go away Brett, in 5 years you’ll get your yellow blazer and disappear.

More Favre...
It was horrendous how he dragged a pure, corn bread town through the mud with his indecision. Humble Green Bay (the town) is the last city owned franchise where the citizens have a stake in ownership and this red neck smears them when he can’t decide weather he wants to ride kid’s bicycles to practice anymore or run the bleachers with his nurse wife at Hill Billy High. We were deprived real NFL stories the entire pre-season while the networks showcased jug head throwing balls to little Snuffy Smiths who should have been playing banjos on a bridge somewhere.
