no trade? no pick up?

i just find it hard to belive that we did not trade or pick up anybody for our offense like a new WR that can actually play and lives up to there hype ( besides Camarillo) also why didnt we trade for a corner or safety? all we need is one shutdown corner or safety and we will be fine... was there anybody out there for defense that was worth getting? does anybody know?

Ginn? anybody seen where Ginn went? Ginn u still play? Hagan ? u seen Hagan?...get rid of these 2 douchebags!

thats why nothing was done. Wasn’t worth giving away the house for a stop gap solution. Patience is the key with rebuilding. I want to be good for years to come, not just for the rest of the year.

the only..

shut down corner that probably could have been got was Lito S. from the Eagles… and Im sure there were asking something ridiculous for him.

keep in mind that T. Copper just got cut by the Saints and could end up in Mia. Copper played with the Boys when the Trio was in Dallas. He is a great special teams player and would probably be our best reciever.

Terrance Copper

was released by the Saints. mostly because they have a lot of depth at the position. Look for the Fins to pick him up. He came to NO via Dallas. Brought to Dallas by, yup, you guessed it, Parcells.

just depends if other teams worse than us need him or not. You get credit for a “you heard it first” if this goes down.

This team is rebuilding

lets not let the early success of this team get us off the main focus of what Parcells came to do, which is build a foundation. We have 4 picks in the 1st 3 rounds in next year’s draft. Until then we will develope our young players and enjoy any success we have along the way.

Wasn't expecting anything.

You make a deadline deal for one of three reasons. A) You’re desperate because you have a playoff caliber team and you sustain injuries or players don’t play up to potential, or B) You feel that you’re team is one player away from being a serious contender and that player is on the blocks, or C) You’re season is shot and you need to start a rebuilding project, so you sell off valuable assets to acquire draft picks.

The only trade this year involved Dallas (Option A) with Detroit (Option C).
We’re not in any of those positions, so we stand pat and look improve in the offseason.
