Let me preface this by saying that this is an unconfirmed rumor.

However, there's word spreading through Dolphinland that Will Allen may have suffered a serious knee injury.  In fact, some people even claim to have heard it on WQAM - the Dolphins' flagship radio station.  One e-mail I received from a person who I trust very much has told me that he heard the report on WQAM, but doesn't have any inside info on the situation.

If this is indeed true, it would be a devastating blow to a secondary that isn't very good to begin with. 

Of course, part of the reason why the team might be keeping it quiet is so they can work on a potential trade for a replacement cornerback prior to tomorrow's trade deadline.

But, again, this is all speculation at this point.  Odds are we'll hear more about this potential injury in the coming days.
