Cornerback
Kansas stud cornerback Aqib Talib is projected as a late first round/early second round prospect. Being a Jayhawks fan and watching nearly every game this year and the years past, I can say he is a manbeast.
I wouldn't be surprised if he landed in the Dolphins lap. In fact, I would go as far to say that he is a future pro-bowler in the NFL. He is a physical specimen and no real injury problems (which for the Dolphins is a good start).
Either way, we do need help in our seconday. I think Talib would be a solid addition there.

I'd prefer to sign a CB like Trufant or Samuel...
I totally agree...
More draft news
Changing the subject a bit, the AP reported today that offensive tackle Michael Oher of Ole Miss is going pro instead of returning for his senior year.
I don't know how he projects yet, but this guy looks like a possible lifer at LT. Now that it's the offseason, take a little advantage of all the free time the Dolphins have given you and read a book called "The Blind Side" by Michael Lewis (I think that's the author's name). This book is a fascinating study of the evolution of the left tackle position, the changes in offensive and defensive philosophies over the years (with some insight into Parcells), and it all revolves around the life of this young man, Michael Oher. It's a great read, very entertaining and insightful and carries you through those late Winter and early Spring months leading up to the draft.
If we were somehow able to land Dorsey, Oher, and Talib with our first day picks, then it could make for a very exciting Fall.
Go Dolphins.
Michael Jenkins from OSU
i miss Surtain and Madison though. I still don't know why we got rid of them. we could've worked it out salary cap wise.
