Jets fan accuses Fins of spying

Saw this over on finsnation.com via NY Daily News
Basically, a Jets fan is accusing the Dolphins of spying on Jets practices. The "spy" blended in by wearing a Jets hat and jersey. Then, according to the article,
"The fan followed him out to the parking lot. What he saw next stunned him: When the spy got to his car, he pulled off his Jets shirt and threw it in a trash can, along with the cap."
But, the article misses the obvious explanation. That a Jets fan watched the practice, realized his team sucks, and threw the stuff away in disgust.
