Week 17 Open Thread: Bengals at Dolphins

Cincinnati Bengals (6-9) at Miami Dolphins (1-14)
1:00 pm EST, CBS
Dolphin Stadium
Cloudy, 81 degrees
Line: Bengals -3, Over/Under 45
Today's Inactives
Bengals: S Dexter Jackson, RB Rudi Johnson, OG Nate Livings, TE Nate Lawrie, DT Michael Myers, QB Jeff Rowe, and LB Anthony Schlegel
Dolphins: RB Patrick Cobbs, QB Casey Bramlet, T Julius Wilson, G Ike Ndukwe, T Anthony Alabi, DE Rob Ninkovich, NT Keith Traylor, and DT Paul Soliai
Prediction: Who gives a damn? We all just can't wait to get to the offseason, when the real fun begins. This game ends a miserable season for the Dolphins. However, I do think the Dolphins might just hang tight in this game, as I suspect the Bengals have already checked out for 2007. In the end, I'll say Bengals win 24-16.
GO DOLPHINS!!!!
**UPDATE**: Well this dreadful season is now over. Beck looked pretty good in relief of Cleo. I'll be back later tonight/tomorrow morning with some thoughts. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, everyone.

One quick note:
I'll be back later on tonight/early tomorrow morning with a post that quickly talks about today's game but, more importantly, begins our look to the future.

Yeah yeah
The IN crowd
Ocho Cinco some people are saying. Pennington (Yyyyuck....) coz BP has done it before. New DC coz capers has no cojones. An OC coz CC can't do both. Garret slipped thru our fingers. FA secondary, never mind our ranking.

Parcells hates guys like Chad Johnson
What I heard Tuna say
Philosophy: a power game based on that which we don't have.
Talent: a seminal draft with echoes for 10 years. Someone will trade for Mcfadden coz he'll make a contender make that step. Jones will pull the trigger when play-off disappointment turns into action. Dallas will give it all for a shot. win-win.

What I do know...
Anyways, I'm out of here now. Enjoy the rest of the game. Hopefully the Dolphins can get back into this one.
I'll be back tonight with quick talk about the game and then we will begin to look forward, where the future has to be brighter than what we've just gone through in 2007.

the exact reason
The dolphins org needs to get a handle on what kind of QB he is going to be. one who just needs some work or a failure, unfortunatly we will never know this season. Can't really judge him for this game since, the all knowing QB developer hasn't given him first team snaps in practice since the buffalo game.

Wish List
- Muller gone.
- Cameron gone.
- Capers gone.
- Mularkey gone
- Jeff Ireland as GM
- Tony Sparano as HC
- A solid draft, with good NFL players to make a good foundation for the Fins for years to come.
- Good Trades (if we make any).
- Solid FA acquisitions at fair prices.
- A Patriot loss in the post season.
- Parcells staying the full 4 years to make sure the foundation is in place.
Wish List
2 Capers gone
3 the Mafia guy OC
4 Trade down draft; build up draft
5 BP loves fishing too much to move
6 Zach finishes his career here
7 Parcells kicks the F*** out of the guys in the background that we never hear about but make a difference but he knew immediately when he arrived.

Yea
4 blowouts in his last 5 games
Players don't like him
PTF is even reporting that some of his coaching staff has lost faith in him
Not to mention his game decision, management, ect did not improve all year long.
His love affair with Lemon
Sure his staying..........Not
I'm sorry
That didn't come from PFT, it came from the Miami Herald.
As far as the team goes..

It's official
This says it all doesn't it?
Beck's release...
Beck looked like he was finally starting to get
I also did not understand why they were not sending Ginn deep. Instead they send Hagan deep, and expect him to run under the ball? I never really though of him as being known for his speed. The deep pass to Hagan could have been caught by Ginn.
Cameron is an idiot.
