Giants not resting their starters?

From a NY Times article

Star-divide

I know this is not Fins related but here is the link.

It says that Coughlin will not rest his starters and play it like a normal game.  That's good news to me.  I wanted both Miami to win a game and have the Patriots lose.  One down, one to go.

However, even if not resting players, it will still be tough for Giants to win.  Patriots are going all out.  There are TD records for Randy and Brady that they want to achieve.  My hope is Brady gets hurt (nothing serious but maybe twisted ankle) and the Giants win.  Maybe the Giants will play the disrespected angle:

All of this is just hope on my part though.  After the season we've had, it's the little things that keep me going!

They are gonna meet NE head on
Please this is their SB. The chances of them making the real SB are slim. This is just as big I think to them. Your at home, last game, 15-0 Pats trying to have a perfect regular season, on a Saturday night, with 3 networks boradcasting the game. It's the SB of the regular season. Who wants to sit out that game, or possible get rolled by by resting starters? In New York no less. Anyone heard about the ticket prices up there? It's insane. I'm wearing blue and white that night and will be a die hard Giant fan for 60 minutes of game-play. I'm so sick of NE it isn't funny.

Me too
My cousin is the biggest Giant fan, and being from Connecticut, i get to here all the crap spewing out of the mouths of the Gaytriots fans all year long.  I would love nothing more than Big Blue to play some real smash-mouth football, and to have Osi Umenyiora and Strahan, knock the crap out of Brady.  The Giants need to be physical, especially their corners on the receivers-make them not want to go over the middle.  Hit em low, hit em hard all day baby!!!!  Go G-MEN!!!  Give the Gaytriots what they have been sorely lacking-A backseat to the '72 Phins!!!!!

I'll be rooting...
for the G-men, too, of course.  But, honestly, I think the best we can reasonably hope for is that their pass rush gets to Brady enough that they send him into the playoffs gimpy, leading to a Pats loss to one of the actually good AFC teams they'll have to play.

I just don't see Eli holding it together well enough for the Giants to win this game.

If Randy Moss or Brady goes down
Then I'll laugh my ass off.
Not because they would be injured I would laugh because it would be a huge kick to the balls for Belichick.

~Now that Tom Coughlin has declared he is playing to win Saturday night despite having the No. 5 playoff seed locked up, the Giants were feisty Thursday, chirping about their desire to end the undefeated dream for the Patriots~

Listen
sometimes to get to the highest mountain top, you have to go through the deepest valley. Flirting with 0-16, while constantly hearing of a possible perfect season that could eclipse what our beloved '72 Fins did, I think I can safely say we have been through the deepest valley. Now the only question is how he is this mountain top?

With Parcells arrival we know we're coming out the valley, but clouded is the top of the mountain How great would it be to see the Pats fall on the very last game of the season? I don't think I could put it into words. Or lose in the SB and not complete the run. Personally I would love to see the Pats fall Saturday. It doesn't matter "when" you lose one, as long as you lose it. A loss Saturday and all this crap of a undefeated season we've been hearing all year is flushed down the drain.
