What do we Fans really want?

Cleo Beck

Star-divide

So at first I was disappointed in the Cleo Lemon decision, but now I've had a chance to think through it, I've realized some things.  All along we've been debating Cam's employment, he doesn't do this, he made that bad decision, but NONE of that is an issue if he wins games.  Prime example: Dick Jauron challenging the Miami play when he was out of challenges, resulting in a 15 yard penalty.  They win, so nobody even mentions it!  If the Dolphins were 5-8 right now, I highly doubt the Miami fans would be after his head.  Winning trumps all.  So at this point, the team, the coaches, the owner, just want to win a game.  Even the fans say that, but then we also want to develop the rookie QB.  So if you're Cam, and everyone is pushing to fire you, where is the incentive to develop a rookie QB?  I'm sure he recognizes the need, but the truth is, everyone needs a win, as meaningless as it is at this point.  I agree Cloe isn't a great QB, but he gives us a better shot at a victory on Sunday.  Lets pack up our reservations and start outright rooting for this team to win a game.  I have no desire to be part of history again.

I've been saying
that Cameron is gone at the end of the season, but I'm really starting to doubt that. Wayne has yet to ever fire 1 of his coaches, despite all our coaching changes. I doubt he has cantaloupes to do it even at 0-16.

I think he should just clean house top to bottom.  I was in favor of Randy, but just let him go too. Everyone wanted this team to be gutted, how bout gut the front office and the coaching staff too? How bout don't hire a defensive coordinator, let the HC decide that, Let Randy, Cam, Mike (Mularkey), Dom, all go. Just tell em to go. If your gonna start over, then start over. It doesn't get any worse than a 0-16 season.

Wayne
You must have seen the Wayne article on Sun-sentinel?

This one?

Yes.

I find this to be very disturbing:

I know that [Cameron and Huizenga] live near each other and they talk quite a bit. And it's clear that Wayne Sr. thinks that part of being a great leader is saying, 'Hey, I believe in you. I trust you. We felt you had great stuff before. We still think you have great stuff and you know, it's just tough to get through this.'"

We're all doomed I fear. Not only has Wayne and Cam taken us to hell, it seems they are gonna give us a tour of it next year.

I saw this article...
but am not ready to concede that Cam is coming back.

No matter what Wayne's son says or doesn't say, this team is coming apart and no longer playing hard.

I also believe the availability of certain coaches, Marty, Parcells maybe, Cowher perhaps, may change Wayne's opinion (assuming he really wants cam).

So perhaps wayne believes in cam but few of the players do. That is only going to become more obvious over the next few games which only get tougher.

I voted
that I agree 100% and I do but not because I think Cleo is the man. I just want John Beck to sit and learn. If he plays at all I would hope it would be designed to help him learn; not because Cam was forced to put him in because of whatever. I really like the way they are bring along Russell in Oakland and hope that Cam does the same with John rather than throwing him to the wolves. I also believe that one or two of the o-line quit on John and that is why he was sacked and hit so much these last two games. I also believe that Cam isn't giving John as much of the play book as Cleo gets; it shows on the field. I don't care about the winning of a game or two nearly as much as I care about John having the chance to become sucessful
