The Ricky Williams Debate
Okay, I've read several times that Ricky Williams wants to and is ready to come back to the NFL. Half of me wants to use him and a back-up running back until the Dolphins can recoup what he owes them, while the other half of me wants to trade him off to another team for more draft picks. I don't know if either scenario is realistic, so I want to know what your thoughts are on these rumors, and if they are true, what these could mean to the Dolphins.

2 options with Ricky...
- Ignore him (my choice)
- Trade him for a 6th rounder if you can get it

Williams
This season is shot.
Bring Ricky in and share time with Ronnie to show the league Ricky can still play. When Ricky averages 5yds per carry at the end of the season, trade him for a 3rd or 4th rounder.
Two advantages for this:
- Save Ronnie's legs for next year
- Up Ricky's trade value and we get a better all around.

Hey...
What do the dolphins have to lose, I mean we are 0-6?
Say what you want about Ricky but when he's suited up, he's given it his all. I don't see the harm in having Ricky Williams get a few carries here and there - he's certainly light years better than Jesse Chatman ever will be.
Regarding team chemistry, hey they are paying $30M to have a cancer like Joey Porter on this team who does nothing except behave like a thug off the field. If you've seen that Levi Jones video you know what I mean about thug off the field.
Plus if they don't want Ricky next year, they can trade his rights to someone for an extra pick.

Yep
The weird punishment of the NFL:
Bill Bellicheat(changes outcomes of games): a draft pick
Porter (attacking a guy in public): Fined
Ricky (smoking weed for anxiety and pain): Suspended indefintely
All I know is when Ricky's on the field, he's professional and one of the hardest working guys in practice. He's not fogging up the locker room like Cheech and Chong!

RE: Cam
I know Cam was "setting an example" but I thought it was harsh. Now our run defense looks like swiss cheese.
