Taylor Wins Defensive Player of the Year Award

It was announced a few moments ago that Miami's Jason Taylor won the AP Defensive Player of the Year award. Taylor, who put up the best combined numbers of his career, was one of 6 players to receive a vote. Here is how the vote looked:

| Ray Lewis | 1 |
| Trevor Pryce | 1 |
Taylor becomes the first Dolphins player since Doug Betters in 1983 to win the award. Before him, Dick Anderson won it in 1973.
CONGRATULATIONS JT!!!!!! THE NFL'S 2006 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!!

But some members of the press are very ignorant and hardheaded....they will do whatever they want without even weighing the consequences. I'd love to find out who the 6 are that did vote for him...
